My Spin On Peach Cobbler

Apart from occasional ice cream consumption, S and I don't eat dessert that frequently. However, when we do I try to make something home made. Peaches were on sale at the grocery store this past week, which inspired me to make this dessert:

Steps: I chose a small baking pan {my bread pan} and cut up the peaches into small pieces. On a whim I added blackberries and strawberries. I added two spoon fulls of white sugar, and a sprinkle of nutmeg and cinnamon. Lastly, I added a few flakes of butter {probably about one-two tablespoons worth}.

Next I got out my trusty joy of cooking and prepared the drop biscuit recipe. I added the biscuits on top of the fruit and then sprinkled with raw sugar. I popped the whole thing into a 425 degree oven until the biscuits were cooked and the fruit mixture was boiling. This took about 15-20 minutes. But note that my oven is weird!!

Then, I served the dessert with Haagen Dazs vanilla bean ice cream. SO yummy : ) and so easy!
