As you know, last week was my first full week of bar review. My days consist of watching a lecture, which is somewhere in the vicinity of 3-4 hours. Then completing a massive list of HW assignments culminating in a suggested 8 hour day. It has been a copious amount of work, accompanied by my first exam studying
dreams nightmares. Who dreams about the elements of a negligence claim in her sleep? This girl. I got kind of depressed on Saturday when I finally realized that this is my reality for the next two months, and that it will get worse as the exam gets closer. SO I took a break, watched a couple of movies and tried to change my attitude. Luckily I was able to pull it together and get a solid night of sleep last night. It also helps that we are now moving into a topic I actually LOVE-- property.
Needless to say, I think the following quote is particularly apt for anyone dealing with an emotionally, physically, or mentally challenging task:
Sure enough, to stay positive and motivated during my bar review I have found it is essential to sweat it out at the gym and make a point to go 3-4 times per week. My friend and I also have a weekly tennis date, which is an excellent way to relieve stress!
