Treasures

Over the weekend, I did a little antiquing with my Mom, Brother, and Sister. You may remember from this post that I have a little fondness for milk glass. I was thrilled when I spotted this in a small antique store on the island:

The man at the shop had quite a collection, but I forced myself to just choose one piece and build my collection over time. I got a good lesson about how to identify real vs. imitation milk glass as well.

My Grandmother also insisted that we take home a few treasures from her own china cabinets:

The orange and the light green one were from my Great Grandmothers. I am a little teensy obsessed with tea cups so I am delighted. And I really treasure having some of my Grandmother's things.
